Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS)
Intelligent Storage AS/RS Shelving Automatic Racking Pallet Systems refer to a computerized robotic system that automates operations such as unloading, sorting, put-away, storage, order-picking, staging and loading. Systems typically consist of 4 main components: the storage rack, the input/output system, the storage and retrieval (S/R) equipment, and the computer management system.
In AS/RS system, heavy-duty rackings are placed in both sides with a small aisle space between these racks. The rail-mounted storage and retrieval mechanism is fixed between the aisle spaces. The rails cover the entire with PLC Controller to control the overall operation of the system. Stacker cranes travel along the aisle, carrying out the placement and retrieval of goods, achieving standardization and automation.
Main System Components
🏗️
1. Racking Structure: Composite structure equipped with pallet racking or drive-in racking. Steel and wooden panels are available for loading.
🤖
2. Stacker: Double upright structure, steady and reliable with vector frequency conversion drive and encoder position control. Imported electric components and touch screen interface.
⛓️
3. Conveyor System: Usually equipped in the front or back of the warehouse, bridging procedures using rolling or chain conveyors, rotating devices, and lifts.
💻
4. Controlling & WMS System: Communicates through OPC agreement with Siemens controllers. WMS features a star network structure for management and monitoring.
Key Advantages
✅
Maximum Space Utilization: Multi-level systems significantly increase storage density.
✅
Flexible Heights: System height can reach 30-45 meters depending on specific needs.
✅
Reduced Costs: Greatly reduces error rates, labor intensity, and transportation costs.
Manufacturing Excellence
This racking systems manufacturer is 100% owned by Singaporean interests. With a factory established in 2004, the production moved to a state-of-the-art facility in 2009. Specializing in the international export market, installations have been completed in over 30 countries worldwide.
We strive to serve clients and resellers with quality products and prompt services. Regular Tensile and Yield Strength tests are conducted to ensure only the best qualified materials are used. Selective and Cantilever racks are subjected to rigorous tests in compliance with European FEM and Australian Standards.
